Aimed for: This Practical Business English course is aimed at Management and Administration Professionals, and those aspiring to management and other decision-making positions in their organisations. The course is ideal for both private and public sector employees, and focuses on the practice rather than the textbook, by working on basic everyday situations in a Business context. Major emphasis is placed on the importance and use of proper communication in the office and other business-related workplaces and situations, such as at meetings and interviews. Therefore reading and writing as well as speaking and listening skills are encouraged throughout this intense learning experience. Participants are continually encouraged to communicate in the English Language, whether spoken or written.  The aim, of course, is for participants to become conversant with the English Language. Role-playing and case studies are key, and offer participants the chance to practise their skills in diverse real-life situations such as meeting people face to face, communicating with people on the telephone, report and letter writing, communicating by email., attending and/or conducting an interview, and a host of other real-life situations.

Related vocabulary and the practice of the functional language required in business situations are also presented.

English is regarded as the most essential language in the world, it is the tool every artist needs in order to communicate his or her ideas to fellow artists worldwide, therefore a good command of the English Language is a must for any artist's work to be widely appreciated.

Very few language schools focus mainly on the world that performing artists come from. CELL does! We offer specialist courses such as this one – English through Performing Arts. The emphasis is on Drama, Music & Dance but using English as the mode of instruction and communication. Learning through Performing gives the participants and actual reason and opportunity to speak English in a meaningful context. This makes language acquisition much easier. The aim of this workshop is to give the artist the confidence to use English during his creative tasks.
